Wins One Gold and Two Silver Medals in Goa; Jaypee Aman Society Gives Its Champions a Grand Welcome
BCR News/Goa: Uttar Pradesh’s young footballers delivered an outstanding performance at the SGFI National Football Tournament 2026–27 held in Goa, winning one Gold and two Silver Medals across three age categories.
The Under-14 team won the Gold Medal by defeating Maharashtra in the final. The Under-12 team secured Silver after reaching the final against Goa, while the Under-17 team also won Silver after competing against Madhya Pradesh in the final.
The teams’ remarkable achievements reflect their dedication, discipline, and teamwork under the guidance of Coach Sonu Sharma, whose continuous support and motivation played a vital role in their success.
Grand Welcome at Jaypee Aman Society
Upon their return, the victorious players received a grand welcome at Jaypee Aman Society. A special celebration was organized in the presence of parents, during which all the players were felicitated and honoured with garlands.
Rtd. Major Laxman Tiwari, Ratan Bhatt, Surendra Nath Sinha, and Jaspreet Kaur graced the occasion, felicitated the players, and encouraged the young champions.
The parents were also appreciated for their constant support and encouragement, which made this proud moment possible for Aman Society.
