BCR NEWS (Mumbai): Popular actor Lilliput who is known for leaving the audience in splits with his character roles in numerous shows and movies is all set to join the cast of &TV’s popular show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. He will be seen essaying the role of Vibhuti Narayan’s Uncle and the duo will recreate a popular sequence from the Bollywood blockbuster Munnabhai MBBS for the upcoming track.
With the ‘MoDification’ effect nearing its end, this new entry marks an interesting twist in the tale. Mamaji (Lilliput) is visiting his beloved nephew Vibhuti (Aasif Shiekh) who he thinks is a well-known doctor in Kanpur. Confused? It so happened that mamji had invested money in Vibhuti’s education with a promise that he will become a doctor. But unfortunately Vibhu never got beyond being nalla! To salvage the situation, the entire moholla comes together just like in Munnabhai MBBS and proclaims Vibuti to be the doctor. This also results in Vibhuti’s house being transformed into a nursing home just like in the movie. Will mamaji get to know the truth?
Speaking about his role, Lilliput shared, “I am very excited to be a part of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. I have been a fan of the show and I was thrilled when they approached me for the role of mamaji. It’s an entertaining sequence and I am sure audience will love it. I am also looking forward to working with the entire team of the show.”
