BCR NEWS (New Delhi): Aisa Yeh Jahaan is 2015 India’s First Carbon Neutral Film directed by Biswajeet Bora and produced by Maya Kholie. The film stars Palash Sen, Ira Dubey and Kymsleen Kholie in lead roles, with Yashpal Sharma ,Tinu Anand, Carol Gracias, Prisha Dabbas and Saurabh Pandey in supporting roles. The film revolves around a story of a nuclear family and their young maid, having moved from a small town from Assam to Mumbai (representing a metro city) and through their story we see how people move from small villages and towns to bigger cities looking for better life and job opportunities and end up turning concrete jungles into bigger concrete jungles.
The lead actor of the film, Palash Sen, when asked about the reason for such a long hiatus, he said “I was focusing on other things in life but coming back to acting after 13 years is all and all a different experience and I am really excited for it, hoping my audience to like my character”
Palash Sen, the pioneer of Hindi pop music and lead vocalist of ‘euphoria band’ is a doctor by profession other than being a guitarist and singer. This Delhi guy hit limelight with the album ‘Dhoom’. This singer gave music a new dimension in mid nineties and made his acting debut in director Meghna Gulzaar’s movie ‘Filhaal‘ opposite Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen in 2002 and now after 13 years. He is all set to make a comeback to acting with the upcoming film Aisa Yeh Jahaan.
Ira dubey whom we saw in her bitchy best with Sonam Kapoor in ‘Aisha’, had done couple of movies before with last one being ‘Dilliwali Zalim Girlfriend’. The actress is really kicked about her role as Assamese housewife in ‘Aisa Yeh Jahaan’. Speaking excitedly about the part she says, “I worked very hard to look and sound like an Assamese. It’s the story of a migrant couple from Assam struggling for survival in Mumbai. I play a very materialistic wife who keeps goading her husband to get her the things that she desires for a better life.”
Saurabh who is debuting with the film when asked about his experience, he said “It was a very great experience. I got to work with so many talented people. I am really looking forward for the film’s release and is extremely excited”
The film focuses on life and survival and is slated to release on 24th July, 2015
