‘Dolly Ki Doli’!
Dolly Ki Doli, starring Sonam Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Pulkit Samrat & Varun Sharma as the lead actors, is a film whose plot revolves around Sonam’s character of con-woman who marries to rob the groom’s family. This film is a remake of a 2013 Punjabi film RSVP – Ronde Saare Vyah Picho.
While telling about the film, Sonam said, “It’s a very beautifully conceptualized film. You will definitely get entertained and you will also get a message indirectly. Very subtly, issues like dowry, strange mother-in-laws and chauvinism have been talked about, in a light and funny manner”.
Arbaaz Khan (producer of the film) appeared with his wife Malaika Arora Khan (co-producer of the film) and shared some interesting & funny stories about the film and said, “This film revolves around Dolly (Sonam Kapoor), who marries men from different religions & runs away with their wealth” and asked the audience to watch the movie with family and friends.
To this Malaika added, “Sonam takes away the money & the jewellery (laughs). Do watch the movie on 23rd Jan”, while addressing Dolly ki Doli’s Press Conference.
The film is scheduled to release on 23rd Jan 2015.
