BCR NEWS (New Delhi): ‘Fuddu’ was promoted by the Writer, Director and Producer of the film in the 6TH Jagran Film Festival held at Siri Fort Auditorium, Delhi
The director of the film Sunil Subramani, Producer Pradeep Gupta along with the writer Pawan Kumar Sharma addressed the media at Siri Fort Auditorium. The film is internationally praised and is expected to release in India by the year end.
‘Fuddu’ is an upcoming comedy film produced under the banner of ‘Mahima Productions’. The film revolves around the character ‘Mohan’, played by Shubham who is disturbed to see how people live in cramped houses in Mumbai city. His entire world tilts upside down when his wife leaves him for reasons which are untrue. His family too discards him and disrespects him. Fuddu is an emotional film with a pinch of humour of how a man tackles such a situation. The film is directed by Sunil Subramani, who was an associate of anurag basu for 17 years. The film also stars Swati kapoor who is a known face in Punjabi cinema, Dilip Merala, Pradeep Gupta and many others.
The writer Pawan Kumar, who also plays a character named Vijay in the film, said “I have also played a role in the movie besides being the writer. People who have seen the film appreciated our work and I hope the audience will like it too.”
On being asked about the release date of the movie, the producer of the movie “Pradeep Gupta” said, “We are planning to release the movie soon. Everyone has done a great job in the film. After getting praises from people across borders, we’re looking forward for Indian audiences to like our film.”
When asked about his experience of directing the film, Sunil Subramani said “It was a great experience, in fact I’ve learned a lot from this film. Even all the actors have performed so well that if given a chance I would cast them again in my next.”
