BCR NEWS (New Delhi): The ‘Big Boss 5’ fame Shradha Sharma is all set to rock the Kannada cinema with her upcoming film ‘Avineshi’ directed by the national award winner Vemgal Jaganath Rao. The film is a suspense thriller and is based on the very serious issue these days-‘Ragging’.
Telling about her character she said “I play a glamorous college girl who indulges in ragging. The story takes a twist when one of the students, who has been ragged by me, gets murdered”
This Starlet who started her career with advertisements and later started working in small screen is known for her straight forward image and has always proved herself as a strict professional by getting out of many rumours and controversies all by herself. Bold by image but soft by heart is what she actually is. She might not have many friends in the industry but those who are knows her worth. She is one hardworking lady who has passion for work. She has also worked in ‘Jeeva’ and ‘Jai ho’ (kannada ) which garnered her fame in big industry.
The lady seems very excited for her upcoming film and said “I am really looking forward for this film. This is my third kannada movie. And we have shooted this in locations of Bengaluru, Mangaluru and Udupi. Various scenes were not at all easy, I remember one shot where I had to dance barefoot at the hill top and the temperature was soaring and it was extremely difficult but that adds to my experience”.
“I have worked in ‘Suno Har Dil Kuch Kehta Hai’ and ‘Sarthi’ and working on television is always fun. It will always be my first love. No matter wherever I’ll reach in my life I’ll always consider this as my stepping stone in the industry. It taught me so many things.” She said while discussing about her journey on TV.
