BCR NEWS (Rachna Sharma/Mumbai): As promised Khidki brings to its viewers entertaining and funny stories from across the country every week and its latest story ‘Kangi ne mila di jodi’ is one laugh riot. Ballu (Amit Verma) is a young man who is obsessed with his comb ‘kangi’, he thinks that it is a lucky comb, however he has been devoid of anything close to lucky throughout his life. Ballu lives in a joint family and he is in the midst of his younger brother’s wedding. He along with the entire family is travelling for the wedding Patiala to the girls house on atrain.
Ballu soon misplaces his lucky ‘kangi’ and he refuses to move anywhere nor does anyone move until and unless he doesn’t find it. He halts the train and doesn’t let it move ahead and starts searching all the passenger’s luggage in an attempt to find the missing comb. The whole dysfunctional family gets together to search for the missing ‘kangi’ so that the baraat can proceed. The entire family faces hilarious situations while they are on a quest to locate the missing comb.
Will Ballu find the comb? Will the train carrying the baraat reach on time?
Amit Verma who plays the character of Ballu said, “Kangi ne bani di jodi is a fun story of a Punjabi family. I am playing the character of Ballu wwho is a superstitious guy who owns a comb which he considers to be lucky. While the baraat is travelling he misplaces his comb and all hell breaks loose. I had a very great experience working with the entire team for the latest story and playing the role of a Punjabi guy.”
