RANDEEP HOODA PRESENTED HIS POLO TEAM ‘ROYAL ROOSTERS’ IN NATIONAL CAPITAL | BCR NEWS
BCR NEWS (New Delhi): The heartthrob of Indian Bollyood industry Randeep Hooda has special interest in polo and was in Delhi to promote his polo team ‘Royal Roosters’ and to launch the new polo club in Gurgaon. The club aims at building a facility in the NCR to showcase the incredibility skills of the pionies and players that dominate the sport.
The ‘Royal Roosters” club has many facilities such as club house and lounge bar, walking trail, cycle polo, golf, riding ,royal roosters polo and equestrian academy.
The winner of GQ Style Awards for 2 years in a row ‘Randeep Hooda’ is a sports enthusiast who has won two gold, a silver and a bronze at the National Equestrian Championship 2014 for dressage. He has also won one gold, silver and bronze in show jumping.
They have introduced a new invitation cup to encourage the other teams to come and play with them where the First winner will be getting the prize money of 2 Millions, second runner up will be getting 1 million and third position holder will be rewarded with half a million rupees.
“I would like to talk to the school authorities to introduce polo in school curriculum so that young people will get exposure “- said Randeep Hooda
Talking about the sponsorship he said “who doesn’t need sponsors Anil, Sandy and Maninder have helped us in giving flight to roosters. We are not coming with a begging board for sponsors but it would be great if people will get along with us as I will help us to reach the larger audiences”
Present at the event were Col. Tarun Sirohi (Retd.) bringing 25 years of experience in Polo, He is the Indian Ambassador to the Federation International De Polo (FIP) the Governing Body of World Polo, Mr. Rohan Saharan-the Horse Master of Royal Roosters besides playing for the Team. Mr. Anil Nair, Mr. Supreet and Mr. Maninder Singh. Few of the players were present at the event Sameer Suhag, Shamsheer Ali, Gaurav Sehgal and Dr.Praveen Kumar where many of them were busy with Jaipur Tournament and couldn’t turn up for the event.
The team has been supported by a team of young entrepreneurs Supreet M J (Sandy), Anil N Puravankara and Maninder Singh.
“Our first priority was to give chance to Indian players as Indians are best in everything. We aim in making our team no.1 by the year end”- said Col Tarun Sirohi.

Randeep closed it up by saying “My horses are the happiest animals on the planet”
