BCR NEWS (New Delhi): Director of the film Jaanisaar along with the producer Meera Ali and the leads of the film Imran Abbas and Pernia qureshi were present at Delhi’s ‘The Lalit’ to launch the music of their upcoming film.
Dressed in white and mint colored lehenga the actress of the film Pernia Qureshi looked stunning. Special performance was also been presented by her on the song ‘Hamein Bhi Pyaar Karle’ and she impressed everyone with her elegant dance moves. Yet she proved the statement made by the director that she indeed is a magical woman by spreading the magic all around and she even garnered everyone’s praises. Excited about her role she said “I am extremely happy to play a character named ‘Noor’ in the film. This character made me a better person. There are so many qualities in her that I’ve admired and tried to imbibe”
Black blazer and beige pants was what the Pakistani actor was wearing. Imran Abbas has done many Pakistani films and was seen opposite Bipasha Basu in creature 3D in 2014 “I was even offered Ashiqui2 but choosing this film is my best decision so far. After doing this film, my aim of coming up with something different has been fulfilled”
Jaanisaar marks the comeback of the director who gave Indian cinema a cult film ‘Umrao Jaan’. Muzaffar Ali while praising his wife who has produced the film and also designed the costumes he said “All the flaws in the film are mine. All the positives are hers.”
The singer of the film Malini Awathi too captured the moment by singing on the song ‘Teri Kaatili Nigahin Ne Maara’
Jaanisaar is a love saga of a revolutionary courtesan of Avadh, India, and a prince brought up in England, set 20 years after the first war of Indian independence of 1857. The film depicts the story of a revolutionary dancer and will be releasing on 7th August, 2015.
