KI & KA IN DELHI!
BCR NEWS (New Delhi): The Ki Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ka Arjun Kapoor and director R.Balki were in a promotional spree to Delhi for their upcoming romantic cum comedy drama film ‘KI & KA’.
Ever since the trailer of the film got released, there has been abuzz around Khan and Kapoor’s chemistry and also the shattering stereotype that the film offers.
R.Balki has emerged as one of the great, idiosyncratic directors of today’s age after directing films like Cheeni kum, Paa and Shamitabh. Known for his distinctive ideas and stories, R.Balki’s Ki & Ka revolves around two people with contrasting ideologies, unlike the stereotypical hero, the man here is a progressive house husband who lovingly supports his wife’s ambitions as a go-getting career woman.
Kareena Kapoor Khan praised her hubby Said and said “He is very co-operative. He always understands me and gives me the freedom to do what I want to.”
“Saif is very impressed with the whole concept of the film. In fact, he is more excited to watch ‘Ki and Ka’ than me” she added.
Kareena Kapoor’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan received National award for the best popular film, when asked about the same, she replied “I am extremely happy that I have been a part of such an amazing film. It was Salman’s and Kabir’s efforts that made the film win this award”
Arjun Kapoor is receiving plaudits for his role in the film. Not caring about his image, this young aged lad took up the challenge of not just walking but dancing in 4 inch heels, for the song “High Heels” in the film, and even sported them at a few promotional events and he surely deserves applause for that.
When asked if he was concerned about the image before doing the film, He said “I am actor; I have to be different all the time”
“Just because a man is running the house doesn’t mean he’ll become the woman. Being a housewife is the toughest job in the world. I wish there is an award given to them for the work they do from sunrise till sunset” he added.
The songs of the film are already a hit among the audiences. Honey Singh’s ‘High Heels’ is creating the same magic all again with highly overdosed Punjabi lyrics whereas Mithoon’s ‘Ji Huzoori’ is a blend of mixed emotions.
“My film doesn’t give a message. Message is something which is received by the audiences. The film has no connection with my real life, this is all imaginary because after all, it is a film and the films are made for entertainment” said Mr. Balki, the director of the film.
