BCR NEWS (Delhi) ‘Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene’ is an Indian comedy thriller film directed by Gurmeet Singh and produced by Devinder Jain and Akhilesh Jain. Featuring Zayed Khan, Rannvijay Singh and Tena Desae in the lead roles, expected to release on 16th January, 2014 after a lot of rumours that have buzzed the B-town.
Anand Kumar had already stated in a telephonic conversation that he felt offended by Mr.Rajesh Chawla (childhood friend) for selling his script without his permission to someone else. He had appealed to the court for justice, and had been fighting for it since 2009 and was waiting for the outcome.
Though the decision was in Mr. Kumar’s favour, he said, “Finally, I have got the compensation of 11 lakhs for my script that was stolen by my childhood friend, but, I am not satisfied with it”. He also said, “How can somebody steal my script, that too my own friend whom I trusted so much. It was me who gave him a break in Delhi Heights (2007) and he betrayed me! Where is the trust and loyalty in our friendship?”
Further he said, “As a writer I wouldn’t want a story written by me being plagiarized. In today’s scenario, in the film industry, we have limited number of writers and every writer deserves equal amount of respect which is currently lacking. It is fine that the case is in my favor. What I’m upset and annoyed about is the fact that I did not get a fair chance to take my idea of making this movie a blockbuster. A writer spends many years working on a script and when such things happen, imagine how one would feel! I am very much upset with the direction of this movie. It is a completely bizarre situation I am landed in. It could have been a hit with me directing different star cast and giving it a different title which I thought of”.
We wish Mr. Kumar getting his share of income after a long battle that he has fought for, but still there are some questions which are unanswered like people losing interest in the writers and the directors are losing their credibility?
