BCR News (Ajay Shastri/Mumbai): Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi, which is directed by Rohit Shetty recently roped in Abhimanyu Singh for the antagonist. Although Abhimanyu Singh has performed a lot of action scenes in south films, but in Sooryavanshi the actor was facing difficulties to perform the action sequence and was trained by Rohit Shetty and Akshay Kumar for the same.
He shared his experience for the same with the leading daily, after wrapping up the Hyderabad schedule shoot of the film and said, “For this film, I am jumping from one building to another and the elaborate action sequences are stretching up to 13-15 days of the shoot. So, I was a bit nervous in the beginning but Rohit sir made me comfortable and Akshay sir guided me well, even rehearsing the scenes with me and making sure I remembered every move before the camera rolled.”
The film which also stars Neena Gupta, Gulshan Grover and Sikander Kher in pivotal roles is presented by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez in association with Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films, and is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Rohit Shetty. Sooryavanshi is all set to hit the screens on March 27, 2020.
