BCR NEWS (Afaq Khan Sameer/Delhi) Hemant Pandey is an Indian film, theatre and television actor, most known for his role as Pandeyji in TV series, Office Office and other few hits including Krishh and Ready recently visited the capital to promote their upcoming movie Chal Guru Hoja Shuru along with co actor Brijendra Kala, Vrajesh Hirjee and Producer Apoorva Bajaj and Pankaj Narayan. The movie is a comical satire on all those fraud Guru’s who have turned religion into business and the public is becoming their victim. The story will focus on sadhus but not on the life of any particular spiritual guru. It is a funny take on godmen who con people in the name of finding a cure for their problems. The film is made under the banner of Himalayan Dreams and will include other star cast like Chandrachur Singh, Sanjay Mishra, Manoj Pahwa and Tiku Talsania are also playing a significant role. The movie is directed by Manoj Sharma and the music is composed by Praveen Bharadwaj.
On being asked about Hemant’s lead role in the film, he very well described the plot of the story and his role “I am playing the role of a Dhongi Baba (fraud) and enjoyed stepping into the shoes of a godman. I am assisted in my plots by a group, headed by Kala and a lot of followers who blindly trust me. And the way I take advantage of people and then in the end, they are the one who suffers. I hope my movie will be an eye opener to all those people who believe on fake sadhus and they will definitely preach the genuine one”.
While actor Brijendra Kala too shared with us few words, “I and Hemant are the strugglers in the movie and have come from the theatre but are unsuccessful and have no job to do. Their failure takes them on the threshold of an Ashram. After watching the whole scenario in the Ashram, they realize that this is also an Industry where we can make money and if we do this work, we will get success everywhere”.
Producer Apoorva Bajaj and Pankaj Narayan also shared their experience while working with the co-actors and the story of the film and urged the audience to watch film on 30th January.
The film is all set to be released on 30th January, 2015.
