BCR NEWS (New Delhi): Gandhi The Hero written and directed by Meeraq Mirza , produced by Soniya Maddan features Lagaan actress Gracy Singh and Tv actor Milind Gunaji. The film revolves around parent-child relationship and the problems faced due to the technological advancement these days. The film is related with the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi.

The mahurat shot was initiated at the Rajghat, Delhi. The first shot captured five school children  along  with Sister Christina played by Gracy Singh offering garlands to the Gandhi Samadhi. After that the children and sister were seen cleaning the pavements near Rajghat. After which the whole film cast proceded towards Aiwan-e-Ghalib and posed along with the broom. Gracy Singh was dressed in a nun’s attire with cornette and habit and the five school children were dressed like Gandhi Ji.

While addressing the media Gracy said “We want to join the Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi which was also a Gandhi’s dream”. When asked about the reason for taking quite a long gap in the movies she said “I was actually waiting for the right story. This story is simple with a great lesson”.

The director Meeraq Mirza said that “Films are the best medium to teach the world and here with this story we’ll give limelight to the problems faced in parent-child relationship and how we can handle that with certain things. We’re sure that the audience will definitely learn something.”

The film with this mahurat shot will also be shooted in location like nainital and will hit the hearts of parents as well as their children.
