BCR NEWS/GOA: International Film Market and Producers are welcoming Indian concepts and Filmmakers with warm wide hands.
During NFDC’s Filmbazaar virtual session, Jaana Sous from Great Britain talked to many Filmmakers and Enthusiast from India, who are looking for Global opportunities to mark ace International film festivals like Oscar, Cannes, etc.
She graciously mentioned that, “When you are submitting a film in any format to us, say it as a short film or a documentary or a full length feature film, we give the same values to all. Here we feel that even a short film is also an equivalent portion of imagination.” She further added that, “We co-produce the unfinished projects as well. If your project is just shot and not yet finished, but it is shot as per the International values then we can support you to come on board with Co-producers of Europe, Russia and Portugal.”
They can offer many International platforms to showcase the project and also reach out for the awards like Oscar and Cannes if the project falls in the class they are looking for. They can provide complete guidance to the presenter or the filmmaker on how to go further?
They also have a special section called ‘Nebulae’ through which Filmmakers and Artists can connect with the other Professionals, Sellers, and Producers if you don’t find any opportunity anywhere else. Jaana mentioned further, “Once you become a member with Nebulae, you get many facilities like multiple online sessions with unlimited access of video libraries, archived videos to refer for from anywhere. Our every session is unique as we invite new countries and we play the role of a guide towards the showcase and release. We conduct fellowship programmes for hybrids where they can participate with various Artists, Researchers and Filmmakers.”
