BCR News (Ajay Shastri/Mumbai): Legendary Hindi film industry actor Amitabh Bachchan was on Saturday evening admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. However, the reason behind his rush to the hospital is still unknown.
The 77-year-old Shahenshah of Bollywood is currently working in Ranbir Kapoor and Aalia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra which is directed by Ayan Mukerji.
Bachchan is also working on the 12th edition of popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). However, owing to government’s Covid-19 lockdown rules for senior citizens, he has not been able to resume to work and finish the shooting.
The megastar cannot shoot until the Maharashtra government makes amendments in the guidelines or allow the senior actors to work.
Big B was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s comedy-drama Gulabo Sitabo alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. The film was initially scheduled to be released in theaters, but due to the Coronavirus outbreak which led to closure of PVRs and theaters, it premiered on Amazon Prime Video
