This year, joining the league is 17-year-old Vipul Garg from Haryana, who topped the All India Pre-Medical Test entrance examination 2015.
Garg, a student of New Holy Public School in New Delhi’s Uttam Nagar East, has scored 695 out of 720 marks in the AIPMT retest. Son of a humble bag seller from Haryana, Vipul had earned a scholarship by Aakash Institute for his medical coaching and big career plans.
Aakash Chaudhry, Director, Aakash Educational Services Pvt. Limited congratulated Vipul and said, “We are very proud to share that our classroom student, Mr Vipul, has secured an All India 1st Rank in AIPMT-2015. Along with Vipul, 7 of our students have also performed exceptionally well and have made us proud by securing ranks in top-10 ranks, i.e. Rank 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th. The high range of marks attained by students is an indication of the extra hard-work our students had put in for re-exam of AIPMT. Although this was an easier retake of the first exam conducted on 3rd May, it helped students score better. Having said this, the quality of intake of students remains pristine and all students are looking forward to speedy counseling and start of a good academic session of MBBS/BDS through AIPMT colleges.”
“No doubt, this is a big achievement for me. My parents have braved a lot of hardships to educate me and have never denied me of anything I had asked for, even if there was a shortage of money,” said Vipul. “However, I tried to carry some of their burden on my shoulders by obtaining a 10 CGPA in Class 10. Aakash Institute offered me a scholarship for my medical coaching. Today, by topping the AIPMT, I have fulfilled my parents’ dreams. Now my next step is to strive to become a cardiologist or a neurologist.”
Vipul Garg wishes to join the Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi and go back to his hometown, Jind to practice thereby providing the locals with low-cost medical treatment.
