BCR NEWS (Mumbai): MLA Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha and BJP leader Mohit Kamboj met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday in Delhi where he has called up a meeting to enquire about the progress of investigations into the theft of a 2,600-year-old idol of Lord Mahavir from a Jain temple in Jamui. Gujarat MLA Shri Harsh Sanghvi and other dignities were also seen discussing the matter of dacoity in kshtriyakund , bihar ( lord mahavir birth place ). Rajnath Singh assured leaders and WorldNewsNetwork.co.in that all the necessary action will be taken as asoon as possible and Home Secatary of India will look personally into this matter .The ancient Idol of Lord Mahavira weighing around 250 kg and worth several crores was stolen from a Jain temple near Lachuar village in Jamui late on Friday night. The idol is said to be around 2,600 years old.
