BCR NEWS (Mumbai): Film J.D makes history. Its the first time in Bollywood industry, that a Real life Justice PD Kode, who presided over the 1993 blast trial, is entering reel life by agreeing to act in Producer- Director Shailendra Pandey’s upcoming movie J.D which is based on the life of a journalist.  P.D Kode, Retired honourable justice of High Court, who has hanged 18 prisoners during his work period, has recently shot for the film, a court sequence, during which he plays the role of the Judge. While talking to the media, he said, “I’m glad to have associated with journalist-cum- director Shailendra Pandey. When he came to me with his story which is based on the life of media journalists, I was immediately convinced as I couldn’t reject an opportunity to give my support to the media industry which has always stood by me.”

Veteran actor Govind Namdev and lead actress of the film Vedita Pratap Singh were seen discussing about the film with Director Shailendra Pandey. Shailendra said, “I wanted to bring a real touch to my film for which I approached real personalities to portray my film’s characters.”

A very talented actor Aman Verma, who plays an advocate in the film, was seen putting his arguments opposite a real life advocate Mr. Rameshwar Gite, Gite is a advocate of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, one of the prime accused in 2008 Malegaon blast case, which was a terrific sight to witness.  Aman Verma said, “I’ve never acted with such great real life dignitaries. It was a pleasure to act with Mr. P.D. Kode in a court set up.”

Actor Lalit Bisht and Rina Charaniya were seen as accused and victim respectively. Lalit said, “I’m extremely glad to be portraying the character of J.D who is a strong journalist. My character is challenging and I’m enjoying it.”

Others who were spotted shooting for the court sequence were actress Meenakshi and actor Amit Pathak.
