BCR NEWS (Ajay Shastri/Mumbai): After an intimate Mehendi Ceremony of Sonam Kapoor with friends and family, the Kapoor family organized a tradition Sikh wedding ceremony ‘Ananad Karaj’ for beloved daughter Sonam kapoor and Son in law Ananad Ahuja in the morning and threw a lavish reception party at night. The Bollywood celebrities registered their maximum presence to this high profile event of the year. True to her name,Sonam Kapoor bedazzled everyone with her bridal outfits. For wedding ceremony she chose red and gold Anuradha Vakil lehenga choli while the groom Anand Ahuja opted for beige bandhgala by Raghavendra Rathore.
Father Anil Kapoor, mother Sunita Kapoor, brother Harashvardhan, Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Boney Kapoor along with daughters Janhvi and Khushi, Mohit Marwah among other family members attended the ceremony. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan arrived with son Abhishek and daughter Shweta. Other industry celebrities who attended the wedding were Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan with wife Kareena Kapoor and son Taimur, Karisma Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Jacqueline Fernandez, Swara Bhasker, Javed Akhtar, designer Masaba Gupta, Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan, wife Kiran Rao and elder son Junaid.
With too much of celebrity presence at one event lit the Mumbai night like never before, the celebrities like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar attended Sonam Kapoor reception in spite of being famous to go to bed early.
